How Batch Cooking Works

Batch cooking is when you select a recipe to make for dinner one night and then instead of making the recipe just once, for one dinner, you double, triple or quadruple the recipe and freeze the extra meals for more dinners to be eaten in the future.

Batch Cooking Tip:  Plan ahead with your grocery shopping trip by making sure you have enough ingredients to double, triple, quadruple the recipe.

Batch Cooking Results

If you do this several times within a short period of time (a couple of weeks), with a variety of meals, you build your freezer inventory of meals gradually and over time.
